City's human resources director to retire at end of year

Kenneth Nakamatsu, director of the city Department of Human Resources, will retire at the end of the month, Mayor Mufi Hannemann said today in a news release.
Nakamatsu will be replaced by deputy director Noel T. Ono.
Robin T. Chun-Carmichael, who heads the Labor Relations and Training Division, will assume Ono’s position.
The changes go into effect Jan. 1, 2010.
