HILO — Hawaii County police are asking the public’s help in finding a man wanted for questioning in connection with a Dec. 23 robbery at the Prince Kuhio Plaza in Hilo.

Police would like to speak to 19-year-old Daniel Jordan Mills, whose last known address was in Pahoa. He is described as 5 feet 8 and 140 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
Eighteen-year-old Ocean Hegent of Paradise Park and a 14-year-old boy were arrested after officers responded to a report of a robbery at a kiosk in the shopping center.
Both have been charged with first-degree robbery; Hegent has also been charged with second-degree theft.
Hegent's bail was set at $5,000. The juvenile was turned over to the jurisdiction of Family Court.
Police ask that anyone with information on Mills’ whereabouts call the Police Department's non-emergency line at 935-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 961-8300 in Hilo or 329-8181 in Kona. All Crime Stoppers calls are kept confidential and callers may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000
