Blood Bank, Cookie Corner giving donors free fruit bars

The Blood Bank of Hawaii has formed a partnership with the Cookie Corner to address the seasonal shortage of blood donations in Hawai'i.

Through Saturday, blood donors will receive a complimentary bag of the Cookie Corner's tropical fruit bars.

The public may donate at the following locations:

Today: Dillingham Donor Center, 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Downtown Donor Center, 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; The Queen's Medical Center, 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; The Honolulu Advertiser, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; Kaimukí municipal parking lot, 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Tomorrow: Dillingham Donor Center, 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Downtown Donor Center, 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Kahala Mall, 7 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children, 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Saturday: Dillingham Donor Center, 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.; LDS Mililani, Cultural Hall, 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Iglesia Ni Cristo Church, 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; Pearlridge Center, 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
