Kahuku High alum Aaron Francisco, an Arizona Cardinals safety, provides insights as he prepares for the Super Bowl.

Today is Saturday, January 31st; 24 hours from the Super Bowl, baby!

Energy flows through my veins as I tell my teammate, Deuce Lutui, "We are playing in the Super Bowl tomorrow!" Deuce responds, "It's showtime, baby!"

Today was our final walk-through before Super Bowl XLIII. Players' families were allowed to watch our walk-through and take pictures with us afterward. It was like a family day. We also got to show them around the facility where we have been practicing and preparing for Super Bowl Sunday.

I took half my family out to breakfast afterwards, and the other half left to spend the day at Disney World. Everywhere you look and everywhere you go, there is someone wearing a Cardinal jersey or some kind of Steelers apparel.

I used some of the free time we had to get a full body massage. It really helped to relax my mind and relieve a lot of physical stress my body receives on a weekly basis.

Before heading off on the team bus to our "secret" hotel, our agent, Max Hannemann, treated Deuce and I to dinner at Roy's Hawaiian Fusion. It was so ono! Sushi, poke, calamari, and sweet island ribs filled our plates, for the dinner of champions.

We are currently at a different hotel than we have stayed all week. An unknown location, even to us. The purpose is to escape all the attention and distractions so we can focus in on tomorrow's game.

We have worked, we have prepared. We are ready to shock the world. Will we be world champions come tomorrow night? We will see!

Aloha!

Aaron Francisco.
