Veterans, the National World War II Museum in New Orleans needs your stories. To commemorate June 6, the 65th anniversary of the D-Day landings at Normandy, the institution is seeking personal accounts of the battles fought in Anzio, Italy, and on the Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Islands. In its efforts to preserve these wartime memories for posterity, the museum already has collected about 3,000 narratives.
