A 27-year-old Kailua woman has been arrested on suspicion of attempted second-degree murder after she allegedly tried to run down her boyfriend with a car in the parking lot of a Kailua bar.

Police were told the woman and man were arguing Sunday night at Porky's Sports Pub, at 32 Maluniu Ave., before the woman left on foot.

She returned with a car about 11:45 p.m.and rammed the boyfriend, who was standing in the parking lot, police said.

The woman fled, but was later located and arrested by police. The man was taken to a hospital in serious condition, police said.
