Surf: 6 to 10 feet expected on North shore today

Surf along the north-facing shores of Oahu is down a bit from yesterday but will still be be 6 to 10 feet today, the Natioinal Weather Service said.

Surf along west-facing shores is on the way up today and expected to reach 4 to 7 feet.

Surf along east-facing shores will remain at 4 to 7 feet, while surf along south-facing shores will be 2 to 4 feet.

Outlook through Tuesday, Feb. 10: A long-period, northwest swell will boost surf above advisory levels Thursday night into Saturday. Moderate to fresh trade winds and an increasing north-northeast swell will produce rough, short-period surf near the 8 foot advisory level for the next few days on the windward shores.
