Pro Bowl extends blackout deadline

The NFL extended the TV blackout deadline to 11:30 a.m. tomorrow for Sunday's Pro Bowl All-Star Game at Aloha Stadium, the NFL announced today.

By NFL policy, NFL games, including the Pro Bowl, must be sold out 72 hours prior to kickoff in order for the game to be televised in the local area.

The Pro Bowl is slated for 11:30 a.m. Sunday, and will be televised by NBC.

The previous 29 Pro Bowl games have been sold out, according to the NFL.

Ticket prices start at $45. Fans may purchase 2009 Pro Bowl game tickets in a variety of ways:

• Online — www.ticketmaster.com

• In person – at the Aloha Stadium Box Office, the Blaisdell Box Office and at Macy's.
