Pro Bowl seats still available

Advertiser Staff

The 30th annual Pro Bowl is about 3,000 tickets away from a sellout and avoiding a televised blackout.

The NFL has a 72-hour blackout deadline, whereby if the game is not sold out before that time, the game would not be televised locally.

"It's encouraging," said Frank Supovitz, Senior Vice President of Events. "Tickets are selling ... and hopefully that will continue to move."

The game, which has been a sellout every year since moving to Hawai'i, according to the NFL, has to be sold out by 11:30 a.m. today.

If it's not sold out by today, the NFL could extend the deadline as it has in the past and as it did for the Minnesota Vikings' wild-card playoff home game this past season.

Tickets can be purchased at Aloha Stadium box office at 486-9300 or by calling ticketmaster at 877-750-4400 or by going to www.ticketmaster.com. Tickets are subject to service fees. All seats are reserved.
