They're in commercials together, licking oreos against the tennis-playing Williams sisters.

They're on ESPN promotional spots, acting like kids behind their father's back.

This week, the Manning brothers — Peyton Manning, 32, of the Indianapolis Colts and Eli, 28, of the New York Giants — are here together for the first time as members of the Pro Bowl.

"It's great. We're really looking forward to it," said Peyton, who will be playing in his ninth Pro Bowl. "Eli and I don't get to spend a lot of time together. I don't see him all season and the off season program starts on March 15 so this is great with my parents coming over."

Said Eli, who will be making his first Pro Bowl appearance: "I'm excited about being here. I think we're going to have a good time this week. It's really fun for us because we don't get a whole lot of time to spend with each other. So we're gonna take some time during the day to hang out, sit by the pool and relax. I'm looking forward to that."

The brothers have other things in common.

Both were the first overall picks in the NFL Draft and eventually led their respective teams to Super Bowl victories, where they were named the game's Most Valuable Player.

This past season, both led their teams into the playoffs.

The Colts lost in overtime to the San Diego Chargers in the first round of the playoffs while the defending champion Giants were ousted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the conference semifinals.

In this game, however, the go head-to-head.

"It'll be fun," said Eli.

Peyton, however, has had the upper hand in the statistics.

Peyton, known for his presnap gestures while calling plays from the line of scrimmage, holds NFL records for consecutive seasons passing for more than 4,000 yards and for the most total seasons (four) with 4,000 or more yards passing.

The appearance of the Manning brothers complete the circle for the first family of NFL quarterbacks.

Their father, Archie, played in the inaugural Pro Bowl in 1980 as a member of the New Orleans Saints.

"We kind of have a special connection to the game, you know, my dad played in it and it's the last year that it's in Hawai'i so we want to send this thing out on a bang," Peyton said.

Next year's Pro Bowl will be played the week before the Super Bowl but at the same venue, Joe Robbie Stadium.

Plans are in the works between the NFL and the state to get the game to return, though not on an annual basis.

"Hopefully it'll come back here," Eli said. "It's a great place. Everybody has a good time. It's a great place to relax and enjoy the time here and also have a good game."
