Advertiser Staff

The surf is down a bit today along most shores on Oahu.

According to the National Weather Service surf forecast, surf along north-facing shores is expected to be 3 to 5 feet today.

Elsewhere on Oahu, look for surf of 2 to 4 feet along west-facing shores, 3 to 5 feet along east-facing shores and 2 to 3 feet with occasion sets to 4 feet along south-facing shores.

Outlook through Saturday, Feb. 14: The current northwest swell will gradually subside through Monday with a pair of moderate northwest swells reinforcing the surf Tuesday and Thursday.

Small south shore surf will persist through the middle of the week.

Small to moderate short-period surf will persist along east-facing shores through the middle of the week. Large and rough surf trade wind swell will climb well above the 8 foot advisory level on east-facing shores as strong trade winds develop Thursday into Friday.
