MANOA
Donation to UH supports studies in entomology

Dr. Nan-Yao Su and his wife Jill have donated $35,000 to the University of Hawai'i Foundation to establish the Nan-Yao and Jill Su Endowed Fund for Entomology.

The fund will assist graduate and undergraduate students studying entomology in the Department of Plant and Environmental Protection Sciences at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources

Their gift will support students with scholarships, awards, research, travel to conferences and other related expenses as deemed appropriate by the department.

Foundation officials say the fund will generate an additional $90,000 for the endowed scholarship over the next 15 years.
