Marc Faber to address CFA Society of Hawaii Feb. 17

Marc Faber, editor of the "Gloom, Boom & Doom Report" will be among the speakers at the CFA Society of Hawaii's annual economic Forecast dinner Feb. 17 at the Waialae Country Club.

Faber, whose newsletter highlights unusual investment opportunities, will be joined by Donald Straszheim, managing principle at Straszleim Global Advisors, and Brian Fabbri, chief economist at BNP Paribas of New York. The moderator will bePaul Brewbaker, chief economist at Bank of Hawaii.

Faber is founder and CEO of Marc Faber Limited, an investment adviser and broker/dealer. He previously served as managing director of Drexel Burnham Lambert in Hong Kong.
