The National Weather Service has issued a high-wind watch for all islands effective tomorrow night.

Forecasters said a high-pressure system building north of the Islands will produce strong trade winds starting tomorrow evening. Sustained winds of at least 40 mph and gusts to 58 mph or stronger may occur.

The winds will be strongest on the leeward sides of the islands where wind is funneled through valleys or around mountain ridges. The watch is in effect through Saturday afternoon.
