Advertiser staff

Kazuyuki Sekiguchi is one of the performers at tomorrow's first annual Japan-Hawaii Ukukele Picnic in Hawaii from 11 a.m. to sunset.

The free event features more than a dozen performers from Japan and Hawaii, along with prizes including three Pineapple Ukulele's autographed by Sekiguchi, 20 gift certificates to Minato's Restaurant and one of 100 koi fish from Japan.

Parking is free at the park and there's also a free round-trip shuttle from Waikiki Duty Free to the event. Food and refreshments will be available for purchase. Proceeds benefit the Ukulele Foundation of Hawaii and the Konishiki Kids Foundation.
