Former Gov. Cayetano's memoir in stores tomorrow

"BEN: A Memoir, From Street Kid to Governor" hits the shelves at local bookstores tomorrow.

Former Gov. Ben Cayetano's 560-page book offers a behind the scenes look at Island politics, including the moves that took him from his hometown in Kalihi to California for higher education, then back to Hawaii for a 28-year career in politics that led to his election as the first Filipino-American governor in the nation.

It also gives a personal glimpse at Cayetano's personal life, including the struggles that helped shape him.

Cayetano will offer 20 minute question and answer sessions before a series of book signing sessions:
