LIHU'E – In observance of Presidents Day, County of Kaua'i offices are closed today, along with all refuse transfer stations, the Kekaha Landfill, Kaua'i Resource Center and Puhi Metals Recycling Center.

All HI-5 bottle redemption centers are also closed.

The Kaua'i Bus will be operating on a modified schedule on President's Day as well as

on all other county holidays, with the exception of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's

Day.

Residential refuse pick-up will continue as scheduled.

Normal business hours for county offices and services will resume Tuesday, Feb. 17.
