AMERICAN SAVINGS BANK

American Savings Bank promoted the following within its Consumer Banking Division: to senior vice president, Terry Hayes O'Reilley, Marketing and Product Development; and Diane Shin, Retail Banking.

To first vice president: Renee Lum, Customer Service Center; Bert Oshiro, Financial Services Group; and Laurie Otsuka, Business Banking.

New regional executives are: first vice president, Danielle Aiu, Central O'ahu Region; Layne Campos, Maui/Moloka'i Region; Kimmie Park, Metro/Kaua'i Region); Chereen Pires, West O'ahu Region; James Takamine, Hawai'i Island Region, and Howard Yoshiura, East O'ahu Region.

Also hired were Mary Antonio as Hale'iwa branch manager and Steve Kitazaki as Liliha branch manager.

RUTH'S CHRIS STEAK HOUSE

Ruth's Chris Steak House in Lahaina Center has named Michael Lowney as general manager. He is former general manager of Wolfgang Puck's Spago Maui at the Four Seasons.

CHINEN & ARINAGA FINANCIAL GROUP

John Au has been promoted to vice president at Chinen & Arinaga Financial Group Inc. He has been with the firm for 12 years and was awarded "Advisor of the Year" two consecutive years.

HAWAIIUSA FEDERAL CREDIT UNION

Tom Ohashi has been named vice president of mortgage lending at HawaiiUSA Federal Credit Union. Gerald Terasako has been named vice president of business lending.

BLOOD BANK OF HAWAII

The Blood Bank of Hawaii has appointed Wendy Abe chief operating officer and Albert Yoza chief financial officer.

Abe previously served as vice president of strategic development. Yoza was controller at the Kahala Hotel and Resort.

OCEAN TOURISM COALITION

James Coon, president of Trilogy on Maui, has been re-elected president of the statewide Ocean Tourism Coalition. Also elected were: vice president, Greg Howeth of Lahaina Divers; secretary, Mendy Dant of Fair Wind Tours; treasurer, Kevin Millet of Holoholo Charters. Directors are: Reg White of Paradise Cruises; Teri Leicher of Jack's Diving Locker; and Andy Evans of Captain Andy's Sailing.
