The state and community groups are sponsoring the Ramsar World Wetlands Day from 9 a.m. to noon today at Kawainui Neighborhood Park at the end of Kaha Street with exhibits, talks and tour of Kawai Nui Marsh, a wetland of importance and the Hamakua Marsh.

The event is free and open to the public.
