Animation exhibit now at Bishop Museum

One of the most family-friendly exhibitions you'll ever find is taking place at the Bishop Museum through May 10. The exhibit opened this past weekend.

"Animation" teaches children — and adults — how animation you seen on TV and in the movies is made. There are six thematic thematic areas to explore and several of the exhibit areas feature digital slide shows of real animators working in the studios at Cartoon Network.

The Bishop Museum is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Cost is $15.95 for general admisssion, $12.95 for ages 4 to 12 and 65 and older. Kamaaina and military discounts are available. Keiki 3 and younger are free. Call 847-3511.
