WAIPAHU-'AIEA
H-1 lane closures this week to slow traffic

Single-lane closures on both sides of H-1 Freeway in the Waipahu-'Aiea area throughout the week will slow traffic during daylight hours.

The state Department of Transportation will be making guardrail and shoulder improvements.

Eastbound, there will be intermittent right and shoulder lane closures between the Lumiaina Street Overpass in Waipahu to the Kaimakani Street Overpass in 'Aiea from 8:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. daily.

During those same hours, the right shoulder lane on the northbound H-2 Freeway off-ramp (Exit 8B) will be closed, as will the right and shoulder lanes between the Salt Lake Boulevard and the Hickam Air Force Base/Nimitz Highway off-ramp (Exit 15).

Westbound, there will be intermittent right and shoulder lane closures between the Hickam Air Force Base/Kamehameha Highway on-ramp and the Aiea/Pearlridge off-ramp (Exit 13A) from 9:30 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. daily.
