Surf: 4 to 6 feet expected on North Shore today

Advertiser Staff

Surf along the north- and west-facing shores of Oahu will be down a bit today compared with yesterday, the National Weather Service said.

Surf along Oahu's North Shore is expected to be 4 to 6 feet today, while west-facing shores will see surf of 2 to 4 feet.

Elsewhere on Oahu, look for surf of 3 to 5 feet along east-facing shores and 2 to 4 feet, with occasionally higher sets, along south-facing shores.

Outlook through Monday, Feb. 23: While several northwest swells are expected, the one arriving early Monday may reach high surf advisory levels on the north-facing shores. A less common north-northeast swell may produce advisory level surf on the east-facing shores by Saturday.
