The Dragonfly Room, a Saturday-only nightclub event that takes place weekly at the former W Hotel, launches its new line-up of themed weekly parties Saturday with its "Recession & Underground" event.

The party, which will continue to take place every third Saturday of the month, will feature DJs spinning underground hip-hop — and this is where the recession part comes in — a low $5 cover charge and $4 drink specials all night.

The rest of the Saturday-night events line-up is as follows:

First Saturday: "Art & Fashion," which features art and fashion exhibitions by local artists and designers.

Second Saturday: "Zodiac," a birthday party-themed event for anyone who can prove they're having a birthday. Make a reservation for a birthday party, and everyone in the party gets in free. Bottle service for "Zodiac" is $99.

Last Saturday: "Wish," the biggest party of the month, with an always-changing theme. Show up dressed in theme-appropriate attire and get in free before 11:30 p.m. The theme will be announced at www.myspace.com/kuriousproductions.
