CFB: Cozzetto hiring completes Washington's staff

Associated Press

SEATTLE — Steve Sarkisian has completed his coaching staff at Washington, hiring Dan Cozzetto as offensive line coach and promoting Doug Nussmeier to offensive coordinator.

Cozzetto served the last two seasons as tight ends coach at Arizona State, but was previously the offensive line coach at Washington in 2003. Cozzetto is a Pacific Northwest native and has also coached at Idaho, Oregon State, California and with the San Francisco 49ers.

Sarkisian also promoted Nussmeier to offensive coordinator after the sudden departure on Feb. 9 of Jim Michalczik to take a job as offensive line coach of the Oakland Raiders. Nussmeier was originally hired at Washington as quarterbacks coach and passing game coordinator.
