Waianae High locked down after fight

Advertiser Staff

Police have responded to reports of a fight on the campus of Waianae High School that prompted teachers to keep all 2,000 students locked in the classrooms.

Several police units responded at about 1:20 p.m., said Sgt. Avery Choi at the Waianae Police Station. Paramedics were not dispatched, he said.

Today's fight comes just days after five people were arrested following a fight on campus.

Police said about 15 people were involved in the fight Monday morning. Four males and one female were arrested, all for misdemeanor assault.
