If you've been thinking about adopting a dog, check out the adoption showcase at 55 Pawsh Place from 1 to 3 p.m. today.

The pet supply store is partnering with the Hawaii Dog Foundation for an event that allows prospective families to meet with rescued dogs.

The Hawaii Dog Foundation will bring a couple of dogs to the event, as well as a binder featuring other dogs up for adoption from the no-kill shelter.

No live animals are sold at 55 Pawsh Place, but the store holds regular adoption events. The store is in Kapolei's Halekuai Shopping Center.
