Hawai'i Lions will use a $10,000 grant to assist families affected by the December flood, providing food and clothing today in Kahuku, Hale'iwa and Wai'anae.

The Lions Club International Foundation awarded the funds to the local Lions, who have contacted the eligible families. Lions Kokua Day will take place from noon to 2 p.m. at Kahuku Hongwanji and Haleiwa Jodo Mission, and from 2 to 4 p.m. at Waianae Mall.
