The boat ramp at Kaunakakai Harbor will be closed for most of the week while the adjoining collapsed cement catwalk is demolished and removed.

The Department of Land and Natural Resources will post signs at the boat ramp to advise the public when the ramp is reopened.

TRI-L Construction is doing the demolition. That job will be followed by construction of a temporary wooden catwalk. The temporary catwalk is under design and DLNR did not say when that work will be done.
