Associated Press

LIBEREC, Czech Republic — Norway won the men's team sprint at the Nordic skiing world championships Wednesday.

Ola Vigen Hattestad went past Finland's Sami Jauhojaervi with a furious finish to win his second gold in two days. Germany took silver after Alex Teichmann also came from behind to beat Jauhojaervi in a photo finish. Finland settled for bronze.

Hattestad also won Tuesday's individual freestyle sprint and partnered with silver medalist Johan Kjoelstad for the classical team race. They finished in 22 minutes, 48.5 seconds. Tobias Angerer teamed with Teichmann, finishing 0.5 seconds back. Ville Nousiainen and Jauhojaervi had the same time as Germany.
