Former Saint Louis School three-time state wrestling champion Travis Lee, who became a two-time NCAA champ at Cornell University, will be inducted into the Eastern Intercollegiate Wrestling Association Hall of Fame on March 8 at the conference title meet in Philadelphia.

Lee, Cornell's only four-time All-American, is one of five inductees in this year's class.

According to the wrestling Web site themat.com, Lee finished his college career in 2005 as the EIWA's first four-time All-American in 22 years and one of just five in league history.

He is the only NCAA champion from Hawai'i and was the first two-time NCAA champion from the EIWA in 16 years. He also won a prestigious Midlands Tournament championship in 2002.

Lee won the NCAA title as a sophomore at 125 pounds and as a senior at 133. He was EIWA Freshman of the Year in 2002, Wrestler of the Year in 2003, Most Outstanding Wrestler in 2004 and 2005 and won the Fletcher Memorial Award for most career points.

Lee also was the Ivy League's Wrestler of the Year in 2003 and 2005 and a three-time All-Ivy first- team selection. He is Cornell's all-time winningest wrestler with a record of 143-13. He was 47-3 in career duals and his winning percentage of .917 is second only to 1960 Olympian Dave Auble.

Lee graduated with a degree in biological and environmental engineering, and later earned a master's degree.
