A 21-year-old Wailuku man was critically injured Monday when he was struck by a car driven by an 85-year-old man in Napili, police said.

The victim was standing near a recycling truck when the accident happened around 1 p.m.

A 16-year-old girl and 37-year-old woman, both from Lahaina, also were struck by the same vehicle, but their injuries were not life-threatening, police said.
