KAHULUI
Nearly $1 million in meth, other drugs, guns seized

Maui police yesterday announced the arrest of three men and seizure of more than $900,000 in narcotics and cash following a long investigation.

January and February searches resulted in seizure of just under 3 pounds of cocaine, over 5 ounces of marijuana, over 8 pounds of crystal meth, $73,0000 in cash, three weapons and drug paraphernalia.

Maui police said search warrants were executed at several homes, vehicles and businesses after a long-term investigation into a drug-trafficking organization.

Street value of the cocaine was estimated at $129,500, the marijuana at $2,000 and the methamphetamine at $749,800.
