An extension of Kamokila Boulevard in Kapolei, from the intersection with Kapolei Parkway to Roosevelt Avenue, was opened Thursday, the city said in a news release.

The four-lane extension, located between the new Costco and the Judiciary complex now under construction, was a public-private partnership of the City and Kapolei Property Development.

City officials will do a formal blessing March 3 at 11 a.m.
