Registration for Kaua'i County's community youth basketball leagues will be held Jan. 12 to 14, the Department of Parks and Recreation announced yesterday.

Boys and girls ages 12 and 13 are eligible to participate; cost is $30.

Registration will take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the following neighborhood centers: Kalaheo, Kapa'a, Kilauea, Lihu'e and Waimea.

The tentative start date for the basketball leagues is Feb. 9.
