‘Ohana Festival Jan. 11
The Japanese Cultural Center of Hawaiçi celebrates the new year with its annual çOhana Festival, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Jan. 11 at the center and nearby Möçiliçili Field.
Among the attractions: lots of food, crafts, entertainment and cultural and martial arts demonstrations, keiki games and make-and-take activities.

Feed The Children benefit
The nonprofit organization Feed The Children will be the beneficiary of a dance party from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Jan. 18 at The O Lounge.
Expect music from the 1980s through today, free appetizers and giveaways. Admission is $10. The benefit is open to those 18 and older (must be 21 and older to imbibe, of course). 779-9206.
‘The Breathe Concert’
Lea Woods Friedman, Amy Hänaialiçi, George Kuo, Aaron Mahi, Sonya Mendez, Kanoe Miller, Sean Naçauao, Martin Pahinui, Roy Sakuma and his çukulele students, Jake Shimabukuro, Mihana Souza and Leon Williams are scheduled to perform at “The Breathe Concert: Clean Air For Everyone,” 7:30 p.m. Jan. 31 at the Hawaiçi Theatre.
