Just how much culture can you get in one evening? How about 20 improvised one-act plays, based on 20 words suggested by the audience, with each "word play" presented in a different theatrical style: musical, melodrama, Shakespearian ... and, of course, comedy.

Local improv comedy troupe On the Spot — featuring Troy Apostol, Rod Cachola, Alissa Joy Lee, Garrick Paikai and Jordan Savusa — is taking on the 20-word play challenge tonight at 8 at The ARTS at Marks Garage.

Tickets are $14 ($10 for students) and available at 550-8457 or www.honoluluboxoffice.com.
