MIAMI — Tim Tebow chuckled when asked about comments made by Oklahoma defensive back Dominique Franks, who said the Florida's Heisman Trophy winner would be the fourth-best quarterback in the Big 12.

Franks on Sunday provided the bulletin board material for Florida.

Tebow was given a chance to respond today during media day for the BCS championship game at Dolphins Stadium, and mostly took a pass.

The Gators' quarterback says maybe Franks meant it as a compliment and that he liked the defensive backs' comments.

Franks was made unavailable to reporters by Oklahoma at media day.

No. 1 Florida plays No. 2 Oklahoma for the BCS national title Thursday night.
