City continues work on Kapolei Pkwy. extension

The city continues work on the extension of Kapolei Parkway on two fronts.

On the Kapolei side, work is ongoing on phase 8B between the upcoming North-South Road and Renton Road. Work there will include clearing, grubbing and mass grading for construction of the new six-lane-wide roadway. It will include a bike lane, raised median strips, sewer, water and drainage ways, street lighting and traffic signal systems, fences, sidewalks, curbs, gutters, irrigation and landscaping, pavement markings and traffic signs. The work is expected to be done in March.

In 'Ewa Villages, work is continuing on phase 8C between Renton Road and Kolowaka Street. Work includes civil, structural, electrical and landscape work. The work is expected to be done in May.
