PEARL CITY
'Healthy Aging' session at library set for seniors

Pearl City Public Library is scheduled to host "Healthy Aging: Learn How to Prevent Falls," a free interactive demonstration program for seniors and interested adults on Jan. 22.

The one-hour program will begin at 9:30 a.m. in the adult reading section.

The program is sponsored by Kapi'olani Community College's Physical Therapy Assistants Program.

Instructors and KCC students will teach participants how to keep themselves and their environment safe from falls through various exercises and balance techniques.

Pearl City Public Library is located at 1138 Waimano Home Road, next to the Pearl City police station. For more information, call the library during normal hours at 453-6566.
