2009 Narcissus Queen is crowned

Narcissus Queen Lisa Wong

Lisa Wai Hah Wong was crowned 2009 Narcissus Queen tonight at the Hawaii Theatre Center.

Wong, 26, was born in San Francisco and is the daughter of Dr. Roger and Darlene Wong. She is a graduate of Iolani School and Wellesley College where she received a Bachelor's degree in Studio Art and received a Luce summer internship, working in a contemporary art gallery in Shanghai.

Wong is employed as a dental assistant.

In addition to the Narcissus Queen, also crowned tonight were: first princess Tina Ng; second princess Dan Yuan; third princess Kacie Pang; and fourth princess Kristine Duong.

Special awards were: Miss Popularity Dan Yuan; Miss Congeniality Kacie Pang; Miss Talent Lisa Wong.
