Honolulu's Parker McLachlin shot a 2-under-par 71 in today's final round and was tied for 24th at the Mercedes-Benz Championship at Kapalua's Plantation Course.

McLachlin finished at 6-under 286 in the tournament for 2008 PGA Tour tournament winners. Geoff Ogilvy shot a 68 to win at 24-under 268, six strokes ahead of Anthony Kim and Davis Love III, who both shots 67s today.

Starting on the back nine, McLachlin had birdies on Nos. 12, 15 and 18 to make the turn at 3 under. After a double-bogey at the par-4 No. 1, he birdied the par-5 No. 5, bogeyed the par-4 No. 6 and birdied the par-4 No. 7.

McLachlin, a Punahou and UCLA alum, was making his debut in the tournment, which had a field of 33 golfers.
