UH hoops: Alumni, faculty, staff receive discount to Saturday's game

University of Hawaii Alumni Association members and UH faculty and staff will receive 50 percent off tickets (maximum of six) to Saturday's UH men's basketball game against San Jose State.

Game time is 7:05 p.m. at Stan Sheriff Center.

A valid Alumni Association membership card is required when purchasing tickets at the Stan Sheriff Center Box Office (Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.) or on game night. UH faculty & staff need to present a valid UH identification card.

Tickets are in special sections and supplies are limited. Other restrictions may apply.

WOMEN’S GAME

Also, fans attending Saturday's UH women's game against Nevada prior to the men's game will be permitted to remain in the arena for free.

The women's tipoff is 4 p.m.

Fans must arrive at the women's game before halftime and will be asked to move to open seats in the upper level for the men's contest.

The arena will not be cleared between games. Fans with tickets to the men's game will be admitted free to the women's contest (general admission seating).

Game sponsor California Hotel & Casino will give away a Trip For Two to Las Vegas on Vacations Hawaii during the "Toss Your Way to Las Vegas" promotion at halftime. Fans can register at the sports marketing table near Gate A beginning at 6 p.m.

KIDS CLUB RECEPTION SATURDAY

A UH Kids' Club reception will be held prior to the men's basketball game Saturday in the Ewa Hospitality Room in the Stan Sheriff Center.

Keiki and their parents should enter Gate A and follow the signs to the reception. Papa John's Pizza Hawaii is providing free pizza and Pepsi is offering complimentary soft drinks.

There will also be prizes and special giveaways. Following the reception, UH Kids' Club members will join the men's basketball team on the court for the pregame ceremony, including the National Anthem, Hawaii Pono'i, and the announcement of the starting lineups.
