Man robs Maui bank

KAHULUI, Maui — Maui police are looking for a man who robbed the Bank of Hawai'i branch in the Maui Marketplace at 1:20 p.m. today.

The robber demanded money from a teller and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

He is described as being in his 50s and approximately 5 feet, 10 inches to 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighing 205 pounds. The man is balding with black and gray hair and wore a dark-colored windbreaker with a gray square patch on the left sleeve, shorts possibly with a camouflage pattern, and black rubber slippers.
