Men just might want to peek in on moms' chat

That Web site may be called MomsLikeMe.com, but don't be misled by the name - the women who frequent the site do not chat online only about parenting issues.

Their daily online conversations cover every conceivable subject — work, current events, beauty, friendships, cooking, shopping, TV and movies, and much more. Love is one of the most popular topics.

Which is why almost two dozen moms jumped on the chance to vent when one woman who goes by the screen name triples posted the question, "What would you change about your partner?"

"Hmmmm, can't think of JUST one!" wrote a mom known online as EastCoastLaura.

"I absolutely HATE when my husband leaves wet towels on the bed — which is ALWAYS! It drives me a little crazy!" said a mom who calls herself wahinekehau.

"It would have to be his weight; since we were married he's put on 20 or so pounds," said another woman. "I wish our vows would have included that he stay in shape and not let himself go. I was never attracted to chubby men, so seeing my husband balloon up really hurts our sex life. I'm still in love with the guy but becoming aroused by him has been very difficult for me."

Wrote a woman who calls herself RochieTwinz: "If I had to pick just ONE thing É it would be him being late. This man is on Hawaiian time for everything."

"I would like my (husband) to listen to me when I vent. You know É to just listen and agree instead of trying to 'fix' my problem!" triples added.

89mom94 wrote that her mate "coulda learned to be supportive of things I wanted to do."

Another reason the Web site's moniker is a tad misleading: Reading it can be educational not just for women, but for men too.
