Korean American inauguration ball to be held

Honolulu — Hawaii's Korean American community will host the All Korean American Inaugural Ball-Hawaii Tuesday night honoring Hawaii-born Barack Obama as America's 44th president.

The ball will be held from 6 to 9 :30 p.m. at the Hawaii Prince Hotel Mauna Kea Ballroom.

guest speakers ill include Bong Joo Kim, Consul General of the Republic of Korea, state Rep. Karl Rhoads who will read a message from Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean, and a video-taped message from Hawaii Democratic Party Chairman Brian Schatz.

The general public is invited, Tickets are $100 per person.

Dress is aloha or formal for men and business attire, evening gown or aloha wear for women.
