What would MLK do? He might want to do a good deed, as well as get a sneak peek of the Sierra Club's projects, including the re-creation of a native dry forest at Ka'ala Farm in Wai'anae. Join the Renewing America Together National Day of Service effort bright and early today (at 8:30 a.m.) at the Ka'ala Cultural Learning Center parking lot. Volunteers first will spend time removing alien plants and planting native trees, then will get a mini-tour of the center and hear about upcoming projects; 696-4954 or www.hi.sierraclub.org.
