New Jimmy Buffett restaurant to open in Waikiki Feb. 2

Advertiser Staff

Singer/songwriter Jimmy Buffett launches his latest dining and entertainment venture, Jimmy Buffett's at the Beachcomber, in Waikiki on Feb. 2.

Located in the newly renovated Ohana Waikiki Beachcomber hotel, Jimmy Buffett's at the Beachcomber is a family-friendly restaurant with "a festive island-inspired and vintage Hawaiian vibe."

As the highlight of the recently completed $21 million renovation at Beachcomber, the 21,000-square-foot restaurant seats about 500 guests.

The restaurant serves a menu of regional cuisine, fresh seafood, steaks, burgers and chef's specialties in the space where the Don Ho Theater used to be.

Opening alongside Jimmy Buffett's at the Beachcomber; The Honolulu Surfing Museum — located directly off the hotel lobby — is a celebration of surfing and will have on display surfing artifacts, videos and surf-inspired items from Hawaii and around the world. Hours of operation are 7 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. For more information, go to www.jimmybuffettsatthebeachcomber.com.
