Stolen Ozomatli concert tickets won't be honored

Advertiser Staff

Tom Moffatt Productions has issued a notice saying it won't honor about 200 tickets to a concert by the Grammy award-winning musical group Ozomatli set for 7:30 p.m. Jan. 31 at Aloha Tower.

Rick Smoot of Moffatt Productions said tickets with serial numbers 1003 through 1200 were stolen from a ticket outlet this past Monday. Smoot said Moffatt Productions learned about the theft the following day.

"Hopefully, anyone planning to attend the concert will be smart enough not to buy a ticket off Joe Schmo on the street," Smoot said.

Anyone who shows up with one of the stolen tickets on the night of the concert "may be subject to questioning" and will not be allowed to enter, Smoot said.

He said 2,000 tickets were prepared for the event,

Anyone who comes across one of the tickets in question is asked to call 593-8333.
