Luge: Zoeggeler wins men's luge World Cup race

ALTENBERG, Germany — Two-time Olympic champion Armin Zoeggeler of Italy won a men's luge World Cup race today by beating two Germans on their home track.

Zoeggeler has won four of the last five World Cup races and leads the overall standings.

The Italian had the fastest times in both runs for a combined time of 1 minute, 50.344 seconds. World champion Felix Loch was second, 0.183 seconds behind, and David Moeller was third, 0.192 seconds back.

After seven of nine races, Zoeggeler leads with 601 points, with Moeller second at 525.
