Kahuku High alum Aaron Francisco, a safety for the Arizona Cardinals, provides insights as he prepares for the Super Bowl.

Today is Sunday, Jan. 25. One week from the Super Bowl!

We had a much deserved day off today. Today is officially the end of Week 27 since the start of preseason and we are currently going into our 24th game. It is the longest season I have ever been a part of in my life.

NFL players don't normally get a lot of recovery time for their bodies week-to-week so these days we take full advantage of. I slept in until about 9:30 before getting up and taking my family to church. I also packed my bags for Tampa, which we will be leaving for in the morning.

I finally got all the flights, hotels, rental cars, etc. confirmed for my 'ohana coming out from Hawai'i. My agent Max Hannemann will also be attending while helping me balance my schedule with various media and festivities requests throughout the Super Bowl week.

He got me really excited about our trip to Tampa. I feel like this is going to be a week to remember. I can't wait!

Other than that, I spent the rest of the day relaxing at home in desert paradise.

Aloha!

Aaron Francisco
